Carved jade thumbpiece depicting Shoulao, Chinese deity of longevity, with Shou emblem

Interior features two covered compartments, hinged lipstick holder, and mirror

Signed Berlioz Leroy, Paris, Cannes, La Baule; stamped AP for Auguste Peyroulx (renowned craftsman who also created for Cartier)

Date of manufacture: Circa 1930

Condition: GRADE B: Exhibits no obvious faults and could be considered nearly new. There are only minor condition notes, which we can discuss upon request. This item is in excellent condition.

  • GRADE A: Exhibits no signs of use or wear and could be considered as new. It may never have been used but is not brand new.
  • GRADE B: Exhibits no obvious faults and could be considered nearly new. There are only minor condition notes, which we can discuss upon request. This item is in excellent condition.
  • GRADE C: Exhibits gentle signs of wear consistent with age and use. Any signs of use or wear are minor which we can discuss upon request. The item is considered to be in very good condition.
  • GRADE D: Exhibits regular signs of wear consistent with age and moderate use. This item either has light overall wear or small areas of heavy wear which we can discuss upon request. The item is considered to be in good condition.
